The Award-Winning Saddle River Youth Theatre has been a performing
arts school and community theatre in Bergen County since 1996 and has produced 140 shows to date. Our Youth Theatre offers year-round workshops and Youth Musical Programs for students ages 6-18, as well as adult community theater opportunities through our Park Players Theater Company. SRYT is located in the historic Archer Hall -- a former community hall of Archer United Methodist Church. This is now the Highlands Regional Playhouse. By taking part in theater productions, students have an opportunity to participate in full-length shows in our recently-renovated, 120-seat, air-conditioned Playhouse.
Every child gets a part and no part is too small. A vast majority of our younger students have continued to train with us through their teenage years, utilizing the skills they have learned through our classes, shows and overall SRYT experience. Visit us and learn why the Bergen County Department of Cultural and Historic Affairs has deemed Saddle River Youth Theatre, "an outstanding theater education program."
